Becoming Gertrude: How Our Friendships Shape Our Faith
This is just the cutest little book. Only a little over 100 pages, but it is jammed pack with knowledge, wisdom and some great stories. Janice Peterson is in her 80's and shares stories of your life as a pastor's wife with us. Gertrude was a neighbor of hers when she was growing up and made a huge impact on her life. 

In this book you will find good reminders of how to encourage others. In this day and age we think just clicking Like on someone's post is encouragement enough. What about actually telling them in person or in a hand written note. 

I would recommend this book as a great reminder to us all to nurture our friendships.
