As I was sitting here this morning finding some great deals for you, the sun was shining in and what would normally be a beautiful picture got my attention for the wrong reason.  Through my window filled with sunligh,t I now saw all the outlines of suction cups that I had used to hang stained glass up with during Christmas.  That's right, 12 lovely circles staring right back at me.

Cleaning windows is just not high on my list of household chores.  My husband does an awesome job cleaning them, but he is busy and I do not ask him to do it that often.  And ladies, you know he is not going to just do it on his own :)  So, it got me wondering if perhaps I am not good at this because I just am not doing it correctly.  I always have streaks. II decided to research a little bit about cleaning windows and here is something interesting I found out:

The simplest way is to clean windows with water and vinegar.  But if you have tried this before you might notice that you till have streaks.  That is because there is still a build up of your old, store bought cleaner on your windows.  In order to break through that you will need to add some dish soap to your mixture.  Here is a mixture I found that I will be trying soon.

** 2 cups of water, 1/4 cup of white distilled vinegar, and up to 1/2 teaspoon of liquid soap or detergent in a spray bottle**

Do you have a simple solution for cleaning your windows.  We would love to hear it.  You can click on the title of this post and leave a comment.
