I enjoy true stories, but this was the first time I was venturing into a true story about the death of a child, written by a father. Very heartbreaking story, but many lessons learned from reading the book.
As a reader, I did find it hard to not get a little frustrated at the order in which the book was written. I am one that likes the facts up front and then the details. Mr. Gerson did not give us the details of the accident until after half way through the book, which actually made me put the book down for about one month before picking it up again. If you are a more patient reader than me, I am sure you will find it easier to read than I.
Over all, I found the book rather underwhelming.
