Although I am not yet a grandparent, I have a unique situation in my home right now. My father-in-law moved in with us about a year ago. During this time he has been diagnosed with cancer and recently put on Hospice. I am happy to say he is doing well! During this transition time I saw the opportunity to review Dear Grandchild, This is Me. Although my children are grown, my father-in-law has very young grand kids.
I was thrilled to get the book and be able to show it to him. There are many pages where you fill out info about yourself (the grandparent). Places to put your thoughts, and what I love the best is built in envelopes. Each envelope has a title, like "When you are feeling overwhelmed", "When you have your first home".
What a special book this is and I look forward to watching as it gets filled for our family.
