I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek of this book, which releases on January 7, 2020. I had never heard of the author before, so enjoyed learning more about him as a doctor and an author. In the book Dr. Warren shares stories of patients he assisted throughout the years and the faith struggle he has had from time to time. Although I found learning more about neurosurgery in particular fascinating, over all the book was pretty depressing. Most of the stories he shares are of patients who ended up dying. I understand that is where his struggle with faith would come up, but story after story left me with a very heavy feeling, so for that reason I would not recommend this book unless you have very thick skin or have a fascination with neurosurgery.
