I have loved Carol Burnett for years! I have fond memories of watching re-runs of her show growing up with my grandma. Years ago she wrote a book called Laughing Till It Hurts about her life and I loved it. So, when I heard she had written a new book, In Such Good Company, I knew I had to read it!

The book covers her years putting on The Carol Burnett Show. We get lots of behind the scenes information on the people who helped make the show what it was, the guest stars she had on the show and many of the skits. I enjoyed learning more and it is so funny that the minute you start reading about a skit, it takes me back and I can visualize what it looked like!

If I had any issues with the book, it was that in some cases she broke down the different scenes of a skit, and I found myself just skipping over it. I think I did this twice.

All in all, it was a very entertaining book.

I received a copy of this book to review from Blogging for Books. All opinions are 100% mine.
