MOMumental Review & Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to read Jennifer Grant's newest book MOMumental. I have to say that being the mom of two teenagers I was a bit afraid that I would not be able to relate very much to what she was writing about. But, I found the book completely relatable and I had a smile on my face almost the entire time! She has an amazing way of making us moms not feel like we are not the only one. Whether it be yelling at our kids when they really were not the one at fault, overreacting to something or just feeling like we want to escape, she and her friends have been through it all too!
Here is one of my favorite parts of the books:
Signs You Might Be Burned Out and In Need of a Getaway with Friends
*You can't remember your favorite color.
*You can't think of the last time you laughed until you snorted.
*You remind your colleague to "use the potty" before the meeting begins.
*You no longer fantasize about a vacation to Hawaii, but instead daydream about getting nine uninterrupted hours of sleep.
*You weep over everything from a chipped mug to an episode of Dinosaur Train.
The list continues from there. The book makes you feel good again about being a mom and inspired me to keep at it. Parenthood is a long adventure but one so worth taking. Click HERE to read a sample chapter from the book.
