The Mustard Seed {Review}

I just got done with a short story, The Mustard Seed by Peter Szondy. The idea for the book came from things that happened to G.M. Mercier in his own life. (I would love to know more about the true story!) The story is about a little girl, Sara, who after spending an afternoon praying to God, now has the ability to heal. With childlike faith she heals, shares her love for God and soon findsshe herself is deathly ill. I won't give away the ending, but it is a good one!

The story is charming, uplifting and I enjoyed putting the cares of the world away for a little while and lose myself in the story.

This story is great for adults, teens and I would also recommend reading it to your children.

The story currently has 5 stars on Amazon, trust me, it is that good!

I received a copy of this book to review. All opinions are 100% mine.

The Seven Laws of Love {Review}

I read one of the best books I have read in a really long time recently, The Seven Laws of Love by Dave Willis. I actually stumbled across Dave on the internet and found out he is a pastor and he and his wife both blog. I started following him on Facebook and love his wisdom and down to earth words.

2015 Survey Earnings

Happy 2016 everyone! 2015 brought many changes in my life, one of the biggest being going back to work full time. I did not realize how it was affecting my survey taking until I looked over my yearly spead sheet of survey earnings and realized I made about $400 less than in years past. But, having a full time job more than makes up for that. The Last Con {Book Review}

I was intrigued to read The Last Con by Zachary Bartels, one because I had not heard of the author before and two, the story line caught my attention. An con man who leaves prison, looking to redeem himself, gets pulled back in to another job. Bartels does a great job of weaving in information from the 1700s into the modern day tale in a way that is so intriguing.
