I admit it, I much rather bake than cook.  I came across this recipe in one of the Taste of Home cookbooks and had to give it a try.  It was really easy to make and oh so tasty!  I do not even want to think about calories.  I love Taste of Home cookbooks because all the recipes are easy to make and kids love them.  If you have never looked into one of their cookbooks, click on the ad at the top of this page and take a look.  Here is the recipe:

2 3/4 cups crushed peanut butter cookies - about 14
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 packages (3 oz) each cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 carton (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
2 1/2 cups cold milk
2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
Additional peanut butter cookies broken into pieces

In a bowl, combine crushed cookies, sugar and butter; press into an ungreased 13x9 in. pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown; cool on wire rack.  In a bowl beat cream cheese and powdered sugar; fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.  Spread over cooled crust.  In another bowl beat milk and pudding, mix on low for 2 minutes or until thick.  Spread over cream cheese layer.  Top with remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with cookies pieces.  Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
