The Grace Effect: How the Power of One Life Can Reverse the Corruption of Unbelief

I recently finished reading The Grace Effect by Larry Alex Taunton.  The book is not only about grace but about his family’s adoption of a 10 year old girl from Ukraine.  I found the story of their journey to adopt Sasha touching and very eye opening.  His contrast of the U.S. as a country based on Christian principles and the Ukraine based on Socialism and Atheism was interesting and thought provoking.  I love when I can finish a book and not only know I was entertained, but also learned so much and that was the case with this book.

If you are a lover of true stories or learning more about adoption in Ukraine I would recommend this book.  I did find the prologue hard to get through and it made me wonder if this was a book for me, but once I got through that I enjoyed the rest of the book.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through theBookSneeze.com book review bloggers program.  I was not required to write a positive review.  The opinions expressed are my own.  I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 FCR, Part 255.
