I am so pleased to be able to introduce Brooke to you.  She has a blog - Spruce Your Nest.  You can visit her HERE.  She is the one with the inspiring china hutch redo that I wrote about a few weeks ago.  I still plan on doing it!  

Each week she will be sharing a money saving decorating tip or idea with all of us here at MFM!  This week she is sharing how she gave new life to an old dresser.  

She started with this....



And turned it into this....

She says "I ended up painting it an off white with a little dressing,  I did not want to spend a ton of money on hardware at the moment, so I did ribbon for drawer handles.  I also had these two little holes on two of the drawers that I could have filled and painted, but I decided to pick up a couple of buttons for $1.25 and hot glued them on."
