This is one of the best books I have read in a while, a must read! This is Rob Schmitz's first book and he did such a good job. The book centers around people who live or work on the Street of Eternal Happiness in Shanghai. He does an amazing job of letting us into their lives, current and past and paints such an amazing picture of them and the street itself.

I could not wait to pick it up each day after work and find out more about these interesting people. I would love for it to be made into a documentary!

I was given a copy of this book to review, but all opinions are 100% mine!
