Guess what?  My husband is going to write on MFM for the first time!  I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with another book publisher, but sometimes I cannot get to all the books.  So, my amazing hubby offered to read a book for me.  Here is his review:

Shayne Wheeler's book, "The Briarpatch Gospel" speaks about all those uncomfortable cultures you'd rather not be a part of; the gay community, hard-core bikers, those disheveled transient types. Why on earth would you subject yourself and your nice, freshly pressed khakis to cultures and peoples of this caliber? To put it simply, because Jesus did. Chapter by chapter, Shayne shares real life stories, conflicts and divine appointments in this encouraging book to live out our Christian faith by going into the thorny, uncomfortable and messy parts of humanity. But most importantly, he invites you to take a look into your own thorny places of your heart and discover that Jesus is there too.

This book encouraged me to be aware of what bounderies I've set up and where I should be looking. I highly recommend this book for Christians of all backgrounds.
