Udi's Review

Udi's was kind enough to send us a box of goodies earlier in the week to try out and let you all know what I thought. Well, first off, you can imagine what a box of food in the mail does for your week. Makes it wonderful! The kids were thrilled to see what was inside. I have shared Udi's with you before. They even had an amazing giveaway on their Facebook page while back. Here are a few great things about Udis:
- They are the #1 gluten free baked goods brand, revolutionized the category when it introduced the first gluten-free bread that tastes and looks like “real” bread.
- Udi's products contain no artificial ingredients, no GMOs and very few preservatives.
- Udi’s Gluten Free Foods are now 150 Wal-Mart stores across the country! To see if there is a Walmart near you that carries Udi’s, enter your zip code into our store locator: www.udisglutenfree.com/stores
Now my family does not have an issue with Gluten and I was a little concerned that the taste of their products might suffer because of it. The first item I used was their hot dog buns. Did you know that July is National hot dog month? The buns did seem a little bit firmer than normal buns, but perhaps that was from being shipped to us. But, that did not effect the taste at all. I noticed no difference between them and hot dog buns with gluten. But here is where things went crazy. We have healthy buns but what went inside was anything but!
Katie's Crazy Hot Dog
Add swiss cheese to a warm hot dog bun.
Then add a strip of bacon and then your hot dog
Then top it off with bbq sauce and red onions.
Try it and let me know what you thin!
We were also sent hamburger buns which we have not tried yet, and brownie bites, snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate chip cookies and Oatmeal Raisin cookies. As you can imagine, most of them are already gone. They were so tasty you would never know they are "healthy"!
So, if you are looking to go gluten free, I would definitely recommend Udi's products.
Disclosure: I was given several products from Udi's to try in order to write this review. The comments are 100% mine and were in no way swayed by receiving these products free.
