I like to read a lot of non-fiction books, but thought I would branch our recently and read
When Mockingbirds Sing
by Billy Coffey. I knew it was a Christian book about a little girl, but that was all. The book focuses on a new family in town and in particular their daughter, Leah. She can see an imaginary figure called The Rainbow Man. The plot and characters are developed very well.
I could not wait to turn the page and see what was going to happen next. Nothing like what I had expected. Mixed in the book is the theme of faith. Billy Coffey did such a great job, even with the supernatural and suspense of this book.
Whether you have faith or not, this is a book you will enjoy for sure!
I received a copy of this book by BookLook.com to review. All opinions are mine.
