Hi everyone! I think this was the longest blog break I have ever taken! Felt strange not to be adding contact here at MFM. I was still putting items on Facebook, but longer blog posts ceased for awhile. 

We all have those times when life gets busy and I was definitely in that season. When I first started MFM, I was a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom who decided to learn how to build a website and earn some money from home. As the years progressed and the kids got older, God had more for me to do. 2 years ago I started working at our church 3 days a week. I loved it from the minute I walked in the office and God has been growing me, a lot! I am now working 4 days a week as the Office Administrator and also working most of the three services we have each weekend. While I love it, it has definitely meant less time to devote to MFM. There were times when I wondered if God was saying it was time to choose between the two, but I never go a definitive answer. 2 years in and still no answer. Are you or have you been in a place like this? For me MFM is a hobby, not a money maker. It was my main ministry...being able to help others earn some money and get some free items. Now God has expanded that ministry in other ways. 

What has been interesting while I have been playing this balancing game, is that freebies have changed. At the height of blogging, companies were offering free items all the time. Not anymore! They are still out there, but much less. That makes it a littler easier to not post as often. I don't feel like I have to make sure to pass along all the freebies, because frankly there are not as many. 

What I do want to start doing is encouraging you more in other ways. My heart right now is to encourage those going through trials in your marriage or parenting. So, you will begin to see more posts about these topics. You will still find out how to earn some money, all the freebies you want, but I am hoping that adding this new content will merge these two parts of my life, that now seem so separate.
